The Assistant Superintendent (Secondary) role is a critical position within the golf course maintenance team at one of Cabot’s premier golf properties. Reporting directly to the Golf Course Superintendent, this role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance crew to ensure optimal playing conditions and the health of the turf. The Assistant Superintendent will play a key role in training and supervising the maintenance team, applying agronomic best practices, managing the application of pesticides and fertilizers, troubleshooting irrigation systems, and supporting equipment upkeep. This position requires a hands-on leader who can assist in scheduling, manage safety protocols, track environmental data like moisture levels and weather conditions, and maintain detailed records related to course management. The role demands a broad skill set that balances technical turf management expertise with effective people management and organizational abilities.
