Starbucks Coffee Company is a globally recognized coffeehouse chain committed to crafting the world's finest coffee while fostering meaningful connections with customers and their communities. With thousands of locations worldwide, Starbucks is not just a place to grab a coffee but a place where people come together to share moments of connection and joy in a warm and welcoming environment. The company values quality, community, and culture, striving to create an inclusive and supportive workplace for its partners (employees). Starbucks is known for its commitment to employee development, offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth. The role of Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks is a pivotal position within the retail team, responsible for helping lead and inspire a group of baristas and store employees to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards in product quality. This role emphasizes not only operational excellence but also the creation of a coffeehouse experience where every customer feels valued and welcomed.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be instrumental in cultivating a team atmosphere that embodies the company’s values of craftsmanship, community, and connection. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations including staff scheduling, training, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Your leadership will help foster a positive team culture that energizes partners and drives store performance. This role requires a hands-on approach, balancing the needs of your team, customers, and operational targets. It allows for meaningful engagement through coaching, mentoring, and facilitating continuous improvement. Assistant Store Managers are also tasked with managing inventory, ensuring health and safety standards, overseeing store appearance, and contributing to achieving sales goals.
The position offers a full-time opportunity with variable working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the retail environment. Starbucks is invested in supporting your career and personal growth, providing industry-leading benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid parental leave, and tuition assistance through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan in partnership with Arizona State University. Additionally, partners benefit from retirement plans, financial well-being resources, and incentives like the Bean Stock equity program. Starbucks encourages applicants with diverse backgrounds, including those with military experience, and prioritizes creating an inclusive work environment. This role is an excellent chance to connect with a global brand dedicated to quality and community while growing professionally in a supportive setting.
