Established as a pioneer in specialty coffee retail, Starbucks has built an expansive network of stores across the United States and internationally, championing not only great coffee but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere where communities can connect. The company prides itself on its commitment to social responsibility, sustainability practices, and fostering inclusivity among its employees and customers alike. Starbucks is not merely a coffee shop but a vibrant community hub where every cup served is an opportunity to spark connection and joy.
As an assistant store manager at Starbucks, you will play an integral role in leading a dedicated team to create memorable and heartwarming experiences for customers every day. This position goes beyond managing daily operations; it involves inspiring and coaching team members, cultivating a positive workplace culture, and ensuring that the highest standards of quality and service are consistently met. The role demands a balance of craft, heart, and leadership as you oversee sales performance, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Your leadership helps to ensure that your coffeehouse remains a beloved gathering place for the local community.
This full-time, overtime-eligible position offers competitive compensation commensurate with skills, experience, and location. Starbucks is deeply invested in its partners' growth journeys, providing numerous opportunities for development through hands-on experiences and leading benefit programs. You will have access to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as life insurance, disability coverage, and paid parental leave. Benefits also include paid vacation starting from the date of hire, sick time accrual, paid holidays, personal days, and participation in a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match. Additionally, Starbucks supports educational advancement through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, offering 100% tuition coverage for an online bachelor's degree via Arizona State University, along with resources for student loan management and other educational opportunities.
Starbucks values diversity, equity, and inclusion and provides reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities. The company is committed to compliance with all applicable employment laws and acts as an equal employment opportunity employer. If you are passionate about creating community connections and are ready to lead with both heart and strategic vision, joining Starbucks as an assistant store manager will allow you to contribute meaningfully to a brand that values quality, people, and impact.
