The position of Assistant Store Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Store Manager by overseeing daily retail operations within these seasonal stores. The Assistant Store Manager collaborates closely with the Store Manager to manage staffing, store setup, merchandising, and tear down processes while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. Their responsibilities include controlling expenses, managing shrinkage, supporting staff development, and ensuring that all merchandising and inventory activities contribute to maximizing sales and profitability. This role typically requires physical endurance such as standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as a flexible work schedule to accommodate peak store hours and seasonal demands.

Compensation for this role ranges from $20.70 to $20.95 per hour, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
