The Assistant Store Manager role at SmartStop Self Storage is a dynamic and multi-faceted position located at Store #6146 in Woodlands, Texas. This role offers the advantage of no evening hours, with a work schedule that spans Monday through Sunday operating hours. The Assistant Store Manager will play a vital part in the daily operations of the storage facility, including leasing storage units and parking spaces, managing a team, assisting with property maintenance, overseeing on-site projects, and ensuring excellent tenant relationships. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are essential attributes for success in this role.

This position starts at $16.50 per hour plus bonus opportunities, reflecting SmartStop's practice of incentivizing outstanding performance. The role's hours of operation Monday through Friday are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., providing a balanced work-life environment with no night shifts.

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for key tasks including the rental of storage units, preparing rental agreements, handling financial transactions and banking activities, maintaining knowledge of all products and services offered, and ensuring the property's curb appeal is maintained. This position requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance. Additionally, candidates must pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
