Joining Nike as an Assistant Store Manager at the Nike Factory Store in Miami, Florida means stepping into a pivotal leadership role within the retail sector of this iconic brand. The position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week including nights and weekends, to ensure the store operates at peak performance. The Assistant Store Manager acts as an Assistant Head Coach to the store team, responsible for developing and inspiring a high-performing team that can deliver memorable customer experiences. This role requires a leader who can balance the fast-paced retail environment’s demands with a passion for sport and community.

As the face of Nike in the store, you guide your team to focus on service excellence and team cohesion, creating positive moments that reinforce Nike’s global culture of sport. You play a key role in implementing service principles, training staff, and leading by example to enhance the customer's journey. This position demands expertise in retail operations management, people leadership, and business strategy, including budgeting, planning, and driving sales. You will also manage the product lifecycle from stockroom inventory to sales floor presentation and visual merchandising. Your leadership will contribute to the store’s growth and the forging of strong community partnerships.

Job Requirements

  • Four years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience
  • Three years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, build and lead high-performing teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
  • Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Proven ability to utilize tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling
  • Able to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed

Job Qualifications
