The company fosters a culture of inclusion and growth, emphasizing not only exceptional product quality but also the importance of connection, sustainability, and social responsibility. With a focus on innovation and excellence, Starbucks continues to set the standard for specialty coffee while supporting its employees with industry-leading benefits and development programs.

As an assistant store manager at Starbucks, you play a crucial leadership role within a dynamic and customer-focused environment. This position involves supporting the store manager and leading a talented team dedicated to delivering outstanding coffee experiences and creating a space where community members feel valued and connected. The ideal candidate brings a blend of retail or customer service management experience or military service, coupled with strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. With an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for sales, you will contribute to fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. This role demands flexibility and dedication, often requiring more than 40 hours per week and availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Starbucks is deeply invested in the development of its partners, offering robust training, mentorship, and advancement opportunities designed to enhance skills and career trajectories. Partners benefit from comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage along with additional voluntary insurance options. Paid parental leave, vacation days, sick leave, and personal time off ensure a healthy work-life balance, while financial wellness programs, including a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match and participation in stock programs, support long-term financial security.

In addition, Starbucks collaborates with Arizona State University to provide 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree via an online program, supporting educational advancement. The company also offers related resources such as student loan management assistance, backup care, and reimbursement programs for DACA recipients. Starbucks accommodates employees’ needs in compliance with relevant state and local laws regarding leave, ensuring a supportive workplace for diverse partners.

Starbucks is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The company values all qualified applicants and strives to provide reasonable accommodations throughout the hiring process.
