The role being advertised is a full-time Retail Manager position located at the company's in-person retail store in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Offering a competitive pay range of $22.00 to $23.00 per hour, this position demands open availability for scheduling. The Retail Manager will play a critical role in organizing and overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, including managing personnel responsibilities, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring the store environment is neat, efficient, and customer-friendly. This manager is also responsible for handling recruitment by interviewing and selecting retail associates and creating their work schedules. They must motivate and guide their team to achieve maximum performance while keeping operational costs in check through budget management. Furthermore, the role includes customer service management by addressing complaints, maintaining the store's reputation, supervising stock control, planning promotional events, and ensuring all safety guidelines are followed. Job Requirements

proven experience in retail management with a strong background in sales and customer service
ability to effectively manage cash handling, cash registers, and inventory control
strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions
experience in negotiating with vendors and managing vendor relationships
high school diploma or equivalent required
ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service and sales growth

Job Duties

organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
maintain an up-to-date product inventory sheets and pick lists
maintain backstock in a neat, clean and organized manner
interview, select candidates, and oversee a team of retail associates
create and maintain the schedule for all retail associates
delegate responsibilities to retail associates
supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
prepare and control the store's budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store's reputation
inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
ensure the store fulfills all safety guidelines
contribute to a positive work environment
perform other duties as assigned
