The Assistant Store Manager role at K&G Fashion Superstore is a critical position that supports the Store Manager in driving sales performance while fostering a positive store environment. This full-time role offers an hourly wage ranging from $16.34 to $26.14, dependent on merit, length of service, and other factors, with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week. The Assistant Manager partners closely with the Store Manager to coach store team members, promote operational excellence, and help recruit, hire, and train staff. The position is designed for a dynamic, motivated individual who can inspire a team to exceed sales goals, maintain high customer service standards, and uphold company branding and operational guidelines.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and motivating store associates by creating an inclusive and engaging work environment. The Assistant Manager is central to maintaining store presentation standards, ensuring marketing initiatives align with company directions, and utilizing customer feedback to improve service levels.
The position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to use technology, including Microsoft Office and POS systems. Physical demands include standing and walking for most of the shift, frequent bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and distinguishing fabric patterns and colors. The company promotes diversity and is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
