The Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) role at 7-Eleven is a full-time position based in Norfolk, Virginia, at the store located at 5520 Raby Road. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year of retail management experience
- Ability to oversee customer service leadership and staff training
- Competency in cash handling and fuel transactions
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Valid driver’s license with automotive liability insurance
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees
- Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity
- Assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs
- Handle cash, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures, ensuring the store is presentable and all products are in-stock
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Utilize computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word and Excel, for store management
