The Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) role at 7-Eleven is a critical management position that supports the Store Leader in driving operational excellence and team performance. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required with at least one year of retail management experience
  • Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership and coaching
  • Proficiency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty program promotion
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft products such as Word and Excel
  • Valid driver’s license and automotive liability insurance
  • Physical ability to multitask, bend, stand, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for store employees alongside the Store Leader
  • Maintain high employee retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, and empowering employees
  • Assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs
  • Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure the store is presentable and products are adequately stocked
  • Communicate effectively through excellent oral and written skills
