The Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) role at 7-Eleven offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with supervisory experience who are passionate about leadership and team development. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing customer service efforts by training and coaching store employees to deliver excellent service consistently. Proficiency in cash handling, fuel transaction processing, and promoting loyalty programs will also be integral to your responsibilities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical, as you will be working closely with employees and customers alike. Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel, is required to manage reporting and other administrative tasks. The role demands physical activity including repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license and automotive liability insurance are mandatory to comply with company policies. While a high school diploma or GED is preferred, candidates with a minimum of one year of retail management experience may also be considered.
