The role of Assistant Store Leader, also referred to as Assistant Manager, located at the Speedway store in Findlay, Ohio, is a vital leadership position that supports the overall management team. This full-time role provides valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay ranging from $12.00 to $18.50 per hour. Assistant Store Leaders play a critical part in ensuring store operations run smoothly while delivering excellent customer service. The position involves supervising and coaching store employees, assisting with merchandising and marketing initiatives, managing cash and fuel transactions, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for both customers and staff.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership training and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees
  • Demonstrated strength in maintaining high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants developing leaders empowering employees and encouraging employee productivity
  • Ability to assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs
  • Competency in cash handling fuel transactions and promoting the loyalty program
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures ensuring the store is presentable and fully stocked
  • Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills
  • Proficient computer knowledge Microsoft products preferred Word Excel
  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience
  • Valid driver’s license from the state of residence and automotive liability insurance during employment
  • Ability to multitask perform repeated bending standing reaching and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
