As an Assistant Store Leader at Gregorys Coffee, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Leader to manage daily operations and lead a dynamic team. Your responsibilities will span across people development, operations standards, and financial performance. As a brand ambassador and cultural beacon, you will foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for both your team and customers. Leading by example, you will train new team members and provide ongoing education to uphold exemplary standards for coffee, food, and customer service. You will ensure compliance with labor laws and health regulations while overseeing the coffee and beverage programs, food offerings, cleanliness, and cash handling policies.

Financially, you will learn to manage key performance metrics such as inventory cost of goods sold (COGS), labor, and turnover. You will also get involved in strategic scheduling, banking procedures, and developing store action plans aimed at increasing sales and enhancing customer traffic. Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred
strong leadership and teamwork skills
excellent communication abilities
willingness to learn coffee preparation techniques including latte art
ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
knowledge of local and state labor laws appreciated
availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

oversee the store’s coffee and beverage program by conducting quality checks and providing continuous team education to ensure brand standards are consistently executed
oversee the store’s food program including fresh baked pastries hot sandwiches and grab and go by conducting quality checks and providing continuous team education to ensure brand standards are consistently executed
oversee the store’s food safety and cleanliness protocols ensuring compliance with the Department of Health
oversee all cash handling policies including making deposits
role model excellent customer service to build a community of Gregulars within your store
learn to manage inventory metrics COGS weekly basis

make regular bank deposits according to company policy
learn to manage turnover metrics by creating a positive employee experience
