In addition to operational leadership, the Assistant Store Manager assists in evaluating the store's financial performance, reviewing sales, wages, and profit budgets, and ensuring that these targets are met or exceeded. They also analyze competitive conditions within their district and division to maintain the store's edge in the marketplace. They are expected to demonstrate inclusive leadership by fostering an inclusive workplace and promoting positive relationships with the local community and, if applicable, union representatives.
