In this role, the Assistant Stewarding Manager will be responsible for selecting, training, evaluating, motivating, coaching, and disciplining employees in the stewarding department. Additionally, the individual will oversee labor and operating costs by managing scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory controls effectively.

Maintaining the proper use and regular maintenance of departmental machinery and equipment is also a crucial part of the job. The Assistant Stewarding Manager will collaborate closely with employees and other managers to ensure seamless operational workflows and attend regular meetings for departmental coordination. This position also requires working alongside the Executive Chief Steward to ensure an adequate supply of china, silver, glassware, and other service-related equipment.
