Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years experience in culinary or food and beverage industry
  • OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related field
  • Ability to lead a team in high-pressure situations
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 3 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to oversee kitchen operations and manage staff effectively

Job Duties

  • Develops, designs, or creates new culinary applications and ideas
  • Maintains food handling and sanitation standards
  • Oversees production and preparation of culinary items
  • Coordinates service and timing with restaurant and banquet departments
  • Supports new menus, concepts, and promotions
  • Leads culinary team and prepares food during high-demand periods
  • Conducts employee performance appraisals and coaching
