This full-time management position at the Dearborn Inn focuses on leading and accomplishing daily kitchen objectives to ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. The role is not only managerial but also hands-on, requiring the individual to assist in all areas of kitchen operations, including food production, purchasing, and sanitation. The role demands a dynamic leader capable of overseeing culinary team activities while maintaining productivity and ensuring culinary standards are met. This includes developing new culinary applications and concepts, managing supplies and inventory, and coordinating with restaurant and banquet departments to meet event and meal timing requirements. The individual will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring staff, conducting performance appraisals, and fostering a positive work environment that encourages cooperation, respect, and mutual trust.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 5 years culinary or food and beverage experience
- or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- at least 3 years relevant professional experience
- strong leadership skills
- excellent communication abilities
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of sanitation standards
- capability to manage inventory and supplies
- willingness to work full time and in person at Dearborn, Michigan
- eligibility to work legally in the United States

Job Duties
