Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 5 years culinary or food and beverage experience
- or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- at least 3 years relevant professional experience
- strong leadership skills
- excellent communication abilities
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of sanitation standards
- capability to manage inventory and supplies
- willingness to work full time and in person at Dearborn, Michigan
- eligibility to work legally in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 5 years experience in culinary or food and beverage industry
- or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related field with 3 years relevant experience
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- experience in managing kitchen operations

Job Duties
- Develops, designs, or creates new culinary applications, ideas, or products
- maintains food handling and sanitation standards
- ensures all employees have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms
- oversees production and preparation of culinary items
- ensures employees keep their work areas clean and sanitary
- works with Restaurant and Banquet departments to coordinate service and timing of events and meals
- leads and coordinates culinary team activities during shifts
- handles employee questions and concerns
- conducts employee performance appraisals and provides feedback
- identifies and coaches developmental needs of staff
- monitors staffing levels and manages food and supply inventories
- places orders for supplies according to budget
- participates in department meetings to communicate goals
- provides exceptional customer service and manages day-to-day kitchen operations
- handles guest problems and complaints
- enforces loss prevention policies and reports equipment malfunctions
- encourages mutual trust and cooperation among team members
