Job Description

The company has grown through the successful integration of originally independent enterprises, bringing a wealth of experience and regional expertise. Dexterra’s core mission centers around supporting vital infrastructure and assets that contribute significantly to society's functioning, by helping clients improve performance and operational productivity. This is achieved by assembling passionate and knowledgeable teams that bring the right skills to address complex challenges, enabling clients to operate confidently and successfully on a daily basis. Dexterra Group operates within the facilities management and workforce accommodation industry, delivering comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs and focused on operational excellence, safety, and sustainability.

The current role, Assistant Site Manager, is based at a world-class workforce accommodations facility managed by Dexterra Group. This position holds full responsibility for a dynamic and rapidly expanding accommodations operation that launches with approximately 500 rooms and is projected to scale to over 4,000 rooms. The Assistant Site Manager will oversee all aspects of site operations, providing both strategic leadership and hands-on project management across multiple key service lines including facilities maintenance, dining and food services, cleaning and housekeeping, and laundry services. This leadership role demands a seasoned professional capable of managing large-scale, complex hospitality or accommodation environments, ensuring operational efficiency and excellence.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and leading a high-performing, service-oriented team dedicated to exceeding client and guest expectations. A major focus of this role is maintaining safety standards and fostering an exceptional guest experience while delivering operational outcomes that align with the company’s high-quality benchmarks. This includes responsibility for financial oversight such as revenue forecasting, budget development, and cost control to ensure the profitability and financial discipline of the operations. The Assistant Site Manager will also partner closely with Human Resources to lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management initiatives, reinforcing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

As a safety-sensitive position, the role requires compliance with drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work testing protocols. The candidate will act as the primary contact point for client relationship management and daily operations accountability, necessitating strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced scaling environment effectively. Joining Dexterra Group means being part of a legacy company that values diversity, equity, and inclusion and is committed to providing opportunities for all qualified applicants while offering a rewarding career path within a supportive and challenging environment.
