The role of Assistant Service Manager at Texas Roadhouse is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the Front of House operations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in restaurant or food service industry
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Valid certifications in food safety and alcohol service compliance
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Availability to work during peak business hours
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Oversees service in the Front of House
- In conjunction with all management, enforces compliance with all employment policies in area of responsibility
- Oversees and approves all Front of House side work
- Provides and oversees thorough training
- Works during peak business times to set the pace in the Front of House
- Manages through hands on supervision of the restaurant including non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, etc
- Ensures 100 percent table visitation of customers to gather insights and assist Service Manager in developing sales strategies
- Leads by example to develop employees and assistants
- Helps to cross-train employees
- Oversees scheduling of designated departments as directed by the Service Manager
- Develops promotions and conducts rallies to drive sales as directed
- Manages compliance with Responsible Alcohol Service training
- Ensures safe food handling procedures
- Maintains cleanliness and safety of the restaurant
- Helps control guest flow
- Assists with liquor inventory and ordering
- Assists Local Store Marketer with building sales
