Cintas Corporation is a leading provider of specialized products and services that help businesses maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented work environment. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Cintas is a publicly traded Fortune 500 company known for its wide range of offerings including uniforms, mats, mops, towels, restroom supplies, workplace water services, first aid and safety products, fire safety equipment, and much more. Serving over one million businesses across various industries, Cintas helps customers get ready to open their doors with confidence every day. The company is recognized for its commitment to quality, customer service, and innovation, making it a top choice for businesses seeking comprehensive facility services solutions.
The Assistant Route Service Sales Representative position is a vital role within Cintas, supporting the company’s service and rental operations. This full-time, first-shift role is a hands-on opportunity designed for individuals who enjoy customer interaction and physical work. The primary responsibility is to provide consistent route service to a set customer base. This involves the pick-up and delivery of uniforms and facility services products like floor mats, dust mops, air fresheners, soaps, restroom paper supplies, and other ancillary products. On a typical day, the Assistant RSSR is expected to lift, carry, and walk clean products into customer accounts and remove soiled products, ensuring high standards of customer service and product quality.
Candidates must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as the job involves driving company-owned vehicles, sometimes weighing over 10,000 pounds, between multiple customer stops. Licensing, age requirements, and medical certification must be completed prior to starting. The role offers a schedule primarily on weekdays with no weekend work, promoting a good work-life balance. Compensation ranges from $19.80 to $24.75 per hour, varying with experience and qualifications. Along with competitive pay, Cintas offers comprehensive benefits including multiple medical plans with competitive premiums, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement through ongoing training and mentoring.
This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals with a strong customer service mindset, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively within a team. A high school diploma or equivalent, or military service, is required. The company fosters an environment that values ambition, organization, a positive attitude, and a spirit of service. As part of Cintas, employees join a reputable organization committed to equal opportunity employment and diversity, supporting professional growth and long-term career development. This job reflects Cintas’ dedication to operational excellence and commitment to its employee-partners and customers alike.
