Job Description

Cintas Corporation is a leading provider of specialized products and services designed to help businesses maintain clean, safe, and efficient work environments. Serving more than one million customers of various sizes and industries, Cintas offers a comprehensive range of solutions including uniform rental, floor care products, restroom supplies, safety products, and fire protection services. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Cintas is a publicly traded Fortune 500 company well-regarded for its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service. The company’s expansive operations are focused on helping clients of all types get "Ready" for the workday by equipping them with essential products and services that enhance workplace image and safety.

Cintas is currently seeking an Assistant Route Service Sales Representative (RSSR) to join its rental organization. This full-time role works primarily during the first shift and is a regular employee position. The Assistant RSSR plays a crucial role in serving an established customer base by delivering and picking up uniforms along with facility service products such as floor mats, dust mops, air fresheners, soaps, restroom paper products, and other ancillary items. The position involves physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, and walking products in and out of customer locations. Additionally, the role requires periodically driving a company-owned vehicle to service multiple customer stops along a defined route.

Most Assistant Route Service Sales Representatives work a four-day week with no weekend shifts, making it an attractive option for those seeking work-life balance. This position not only provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in customer service and logistics but also offers the chance to develop valuable skills in sales, route management, and teamwork. Candidates will be supported through ongoing training, mentoring, and career advancement opportunities aimed at building world-class business and service capabilities.

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet stringent Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations related to driving a commercial vehicle weighing over 10,000 pounds. This includes holding an active driver’s license, being at least 21 years old, obtaining a DOT medical certification, and providing documentation of past employment. Furthermore, successful applicants will demonstrate physical capability to handle the job requirements, hold a high school diploma, GED or have military service experience, and exhibit strong customer service skills along with a positive attitude, organization, and self-motivation.

Cintas offers a highly competitive benefits package including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans with options designed to keep premiums affordable. Additional benefits include competitive pay, 401(k) plans with company matching and profit sharing, company-paid disability, life, and AD&D insurance, paid time off and holidays, as well as training and skill development programs that promote career growth. As an equal opportunity employer, Cintas values diversity and inclusion and considers qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.

This position represents an exciting and rewarding opportunity for individuals looking to join a stable, growth-oriented company with a strong reputation and a commitment to employee success. Cintas’ focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction makes it an ideal employer for candidates who take pride in providing excellent service and want to build a meaningful career in the service and rental industry.
