The Assistant Manager role at Qdoba is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food, customer service, and team leadership. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the General Manager and overall restaurant operations by ensuring that service is fast, accurate, and friendly. You will take the lead in training, motivating, and developing the team to maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety. This role demands a strategic thinker who can balance operational demands, manage labor and food costs, and help achieve or exceed sales targets. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring inventory levels, overseeing food safety procedures, and maintaining safe working conditions. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Previous management or supervisory experience is required
- Ability to communicate in English is required
- Spanish comprehension is helpful
- Fundamental reading, writing, math and computer/POS skills are required
- Must meet the minimal criteria in background check
- Must successfully complete the in-house management training program
- Must have a valid driver license with access to adequate transportation
- Must complete administrative driving requirements
- May be required to reach, bend, stoop, climb, and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- May be required to operate/access equipment at standard heights while walking or standing during entire shift
- Hazards include slipping, tripping, burns, cuts, abrasions, and falls
- Must make a minimum commitment of 50 hours per week with shifts of varying times and lengths
- Must be available and willing to work a variety of days/times including weekends and evenings

Job Qualifications
