Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years progressive experience in food and beverage management
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to effectively train and schedule staff
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints professionally
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Commitment to maintaining Hyatt service standards

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people
  • 2 years or more of progressive hotel F&B management experience preferred, typically with Hyatt
  • Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Hotel or hospitality degree an asset
  • Must possess strengths such as high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, and exceptional customer service skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • Responsible for interviewing, training and scheduling
  • Responsible for payroll, reports, inventory
  • Coordinate outlet operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service
  • Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
  • Implement procedures to increase guest and employee satisfaction
  • Exercise quality control for both food and beverage
  • Maintain Hyatt standards of service and ensure their implementation
  • Ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards
  • Maintain communications with other areas of the hotel
  • Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures
