At MGM Resorts, the Assistant Manager position at Ginger, a renowned Pan Asian restaurant, plays a pivotal role in elevating the dining experience through efficient operations and inspirational leadership. The role offers a starting annual salary of $70,000 and includes a work schedule primarily from 7 PM to 4 AM, aligning with the restaurant's operational hours.

The Assistant Manager at Ginger will be responsible for developing daily floor plans to optimize station coverage and supervising dining room service throughout operational hours. Collaboration is key in this position, as the manager works closely with chefs and culinary staff to influence menu plans and ensure high food quality. Attention to detail in managing supply orders, inventory, and employee evaluations is essential to maintaining smooth restaurant operations. Additionally, this role requires direct engagement with guests to accommodate special requests and manage reservations, thereby enhancing their dining experience. This position is ideal for those with at least two years of relevant supervisory or managerial food and beverage experience, preferably in a Pan Asian restaurant setting.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • prior food and beverage supervisory or managerial experience preferred
  • prior experience in Pan Asian restaurant operations preferred
