The Assistant Restaurant Manager role at SSP America is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and food service management. This position comes with a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 annually, including potential quarterly bonuses and an annual super bonus, reflecting the company's dedication to rewarding performance. Employees may be assigned to any available Assistant Restaurant Manager position across the company's portfolio without changes in pay, providing flexibility and a broad scope of experience.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for training and developing a team of Food Travel Experts in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Your leadership will ensure that daily business goals are met by assigning tasks, managing inventory, maintaining merchandising and presentation standards, and upholding health and sanitation compliance. Additionally, you will manage team performance through regular evaluations and feedback, including disciplinary actions when necessary. Working closely with a diverse staff and managing varied restaurant operations will help you build a strong foundation in both people management and operational excellence. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years restaurant manager experience in a quick-service environment
  • 1 year of experience in a full-service bar environment preferred
  • Minimum 1 year kitchen manager experience in a professional restaurant or production kitchen preferred

Job Duties

  • Trains develops and communicates with team of food travel experts in front of house and back of house
  • Implements and maintains guest service standards and or brand specifications
  • Maintains all merchandising standards display presentations and signing standards and monitors inventory levels
  • Develops plans and assigns daily goals tasks and team member assignments
  • Manages supervises and evaluates team member performance through follow-up to ensure proper completion of assigned tasks and goals and provides feedback including disciplinary action
  • Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures as well as state health sanitation standards
