The Assistant Restaurant Manager role at Gene's Bistro is an exciting and challenging opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and restaurant management. This position plays a critical role in supporting the General Manager by overseeing daily operations in a fast-paced airport setting. With a salary range of $64,000 to $67,000 per year plus bonus potential, this full-time role offers both financial and professional growth opportunities. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of management experience in a restaurant environment
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • proficiency in inventory and cash handling procedures

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience in full-service or high-volume dining
  • 1+ year of back-of-house or kitchen leadership preferred
  • experience leading teams managing labor and controlling costs
  • knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP or ServSafe
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings evenings and weekends
