The role of Assistant Restaurant Manager at Hyatt is pivotal in maintaining the excellence expected in the food and beverage operations within the hotel. Job Requirements
- Three years of experience as a restaurant or bar manager
- Five years of overall restaurant experience
- Strong food and beverage knowledge
- Strong bar knowledge
- Working knowledge of back office restaurant management software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with timeclock, payroll, and POS systems
- Availability without restrictions

Job Duties
- Manage day to day operations, overseeing FOH staff
- Provide guests with memorable experiences to ensure repeat visits
- Respond promptly to guest complaints and inquiries
- Ensure quality product delivery
- Lead team and provide constructive feedback
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Forecast and maintain inventory cost-efficiently
- Comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness in F&B outlets

- Resolve issues involving guests, staff, or maintenance
- Help orchestrate large restaurant and hotel events
- Attend daily/weekly meetings with upper management
- Conduct service audits
- Contribute to all-staff meetings and training
- Coach team on steps-of-service
- Assist in interviewing and hiring new candidates
- Assist in weekly scheduling and labor tracking
- Complete inventory counts
- Assist in payroll preparation and processing
- Complete daily financial reporting
- Maintain updated files for SOPs and menu items
- Hold accountability for team and assist in documentation as needed
