The company is dedicated to innovation, community support, and employee well-being, evident by its numerous accolades including the "Best in STEM" award and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.

At CEC Entertainment, the core mission revolves around providing a safe, engaging, and joyful environment "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid". The Chuck E. Cheese brand annually hosts over half a million birthday celebrations, emphasizing fun through quality food, engaging entertainment attractions, and community initiatives such as the Kid Check® safety program and significant charitable contributions to schools and nonprofits. Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood-style pizzeria experience focused on quality food and entertainment that brings families and communities together daily. Both brands promote physical wellness and developmental skills in children through various play activities and attractions.

The Assistant Manager position at CEC Entertainment is a fantastic career opportunity for individuals eager to advance their management skills within the family entertainment sector. This role plays a pivotal part in leading a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. It is a high-energy, high-reward position that requires a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for building and motivating teams.

Compensation for the Assistant Manager role ranges from $18.38 to $20.42 hourly, with exciting commission potentials based on sales performance. Exempt employees can earn commission ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 for each membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass sold, paid out bi-weekly. Non-exempt employees have commission potentials from $2.00 to $8.00 for memberships and $0.60 to $2.40 for Fun Passes, also paid bi-weekly. This compensation structure incentivizes and rewards proactive salesmanship and team leadership.

The Assistant Manager’s responsibilities include making strategic decisions on time management, staff scheduling, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding product and guest service standards to ensure every guest leaves happy. Assistant Managers build sales and maximize profits by recruiting, training, and developing staff to meet both company and guest expectations. A unique aspect of this role involves taking ownership of an "Area of Impact" (AOI), with rotations through key operational zones such as The Kitchen (food safety, product ordering, scheduling), Sales (cashier oversight, merchandise management, and sales monitoring), Showroom (party execution and guest satisfaction), and Gameroom (maintenance coordination, game data analysis, and cleanliness). This rotation ensures broad operational expertise and develops well-rounded management capabilities.

CEC Entertainment is committed to providing an inclusive, supportive work environment. Employees benefit from competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, career growth opportunities, and a dynamic workplace culture. The company values diversity and inclusion and ensures compliance with state and local labor laws, including paid sick leave and accommodation for disabilities.
