As an Assistant Manager at Chuck E. Cheese, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while leading a team dedicated to making sure “every guest leaves happy.” This high-energy, high-reward position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $13.91 to $15.46 and attractive commission opportunities paid bi-weekly based on memberships and Fun Pass sales. Your leadership will encompass daily operational decisions including staff scheduling, cleanliness standards, and upholding food and service quality. You will develop and motivate your team members through effective coaching, training, and performance management to meet company and guest expectations.

The role offers a unique opportunity to rotate through various critical areas of the operation—Kitchen, Sales, Showroom, and Gameroom—allowing you to build broad expertise in areas such as food preparation and safety, sales and inventory management, party execution, and equipment maintenance. You will be responsible for managing inventory, financials, labor, and cost controls to optimize profitability. As a key leader, you will also focus on ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations, contributing to the company’s strong reputation for maintaining rigorous health and sanitation standards.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week
  • must have a high school diploma or GED
  • must be at least 21 years of age or older (RVP approval may allow hiring at legal age for alcohol sales)
  • minimum one year experience managing people preferably in food service or six months as Opening Coordinator
  • ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during shift
  • ability to work in environment with flashing lights, moving parts, loud noise, and exposure to varying temperatures

Job Duties

  • Make daily decisions involving time management, staff scheduling, cleanliness and service standards
  • build sales and maximize profits through effective recruitment, training, development and motivation of team
  • coach and inspire the team to deliver outstanding guest service in a safe and clean environment
  • understand cost control procedures, inventory, financials and labor management
  • take ownership of an Area of Impact including Kitchen, Sales, Showroom or Gameroom
  • manage kitchen operations including product ordering, food safety, scheduling and cleanliness
  • lead birthday party execution and planning to maximize bookings and guest satisfaction
  • partner with Technical Manager to maintain games and equipment, analyze game play data and ticket payouts
