As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will take charge of the day-to-day front of house and kitchen activities to ensure seamless operations in a high-volume, fast-moving airport setting. This role demands strong leadership skills, a keen focus on food safety and quality, as well as strategic oversight in cost control, merchandising, and office management. You will lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a positive working environment that supports both employee growth and customer satisfaction.
You will manage systems and processes that uphold SSP’s high standards and implement forecasting and budgeting strategies to support financial goals. Problem-solving skills are essential as you will handle challenges ranging from staff coordination to customer service issues.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, possesses strong organizational abilities, and is committed to maintaining exemplary service standards. Experience with point-of-sale systems and computer proficiency in MS Office is required to ensure efficient operations and reporting. The role includes vital interaction with executives, union representatives, and a multi-level team, requiring excellent communication capabilities and maturity.
