We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated Assistant Restaurant Managers to join our Dunkin' team. This full-time role focuses on assisting the Restaurant Manager in cultivating a team of committed individuals who consistently deliver excellent guest experiences and contribute to achieving profitable top-line sales. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is pivotal in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing crew members and shift leaders, ensuring that team members not only meet but exceed performance expectations and uphold Dunkin's brand standards.

The role encompasses operational excellence by fostering a guest-first culture, ensuring proper staffing across shifts, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment that adheres strictly to food safety, sanitation guidelines, and applicable laws. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for executing brand standards, recipes, action plans, and marketing promotions effectively to boost productivity, quality, and guest satisfaction. They also play an essential role in reviewing guest feedback and restaurant assessments to implement continuous improvements.

  • Proven restaurant or retail supervisory experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Basic computer skills
  • At least 18 years of age where applicable
  • Proficient in math and financial management
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Assist to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees
  • Communicate job expectations to employees
  • Hold team members accountable for their behavior and performance, addressing concerns promptly
  • Support the development of team members
  • Create and maintain a guest first culture in the restaurant
  • Ensure all shifts are appropriately staffed to achieve guest service goals
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Comply with all applicable laws
  • Ensure Brand standards, recipes and systems are executed
  • Help prepare and complete action plans
  • Implement production, productivity, quality and guest service standards
  • Review guest feedback and restaurant assessment results and implement action plans to drive system improvements
  • Control costs to help maximize profitability
  • Execute all in-restaurant marketing promotions in a timely manner
  • Execute new product roll-outs including team training, marketing and sampling
  • Drive sales goals and track results
