At the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), SSP America provides travelers with exceptional food and service through its Qdoba location and other restaurant concepts within the airport.

Working at MSP Airport means being part of a dynamic, high-volume environment where no two days are the same. The location serves thousands of travelers daily, offering a fast-paced setting that requires excellent operational oversight and top-tier customer service. SSP America prides itself on creating a welcoming atmosphere that not only satisfies hunger but also enhances the travel experience for guests passing through the Twin Cities airport.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations across multiple restaurant units inside the airport. Your leadership will be essential to maintaining the high standards SSP America sets for food quality, service excellence, and safety compliance. You'll lead a team of Food Travel Experts, providing hands-on support to manage opening, service, and closing procedures. This role requires a balance of operational management, team leadership, and guest service, with a focus on efficiency and creating memorable dining experiences for customers.

You will also be responsible for managing inventory, placing orders, and monitoring product quality and presentation to uphold brand standards. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food sanitation regulations is critical, and you will help maintain a safe working environment in all units.

Cash handling and reconciliation are part of your duties, requiring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Performance monitoring, coaching, and disciplinary measures fall under your scope, ensuring that all team members meet their potential and company expectations. Effective communication with management and team members, along with prompt resolution of guest feedback, will be key to your success in this role.

Overall, this position offers a unique opportunity to build a career with a global leader in travel dining, work in an exciting airport environment, and enjoy competitive pay and benefits.
