Situated in the dynamic environment of Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA), Le Grand Comptoir offers a distinctive dining experience that blends exceptional French-inspired cuisine with efficient service tailored for the busy traveler. As a full-service dining establishment with an adjoining bar, it provides a unique atmosphere that balances quality, speed, and customer satisfaction. SSP America prides itself on its commitment to operational excellence, food safety, and creating rewarding career opportunities for its team members within a multicultural and fast-paced setting.
This position is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role with an annual salary of $70,600, complemented by opportunities for quarterly bonuses and a year-end super bonus. The role is designed for skilled food service professionals who seek to grow within a well-established company and demonstrate leadership in high-volume food operations. The Assistant Restaurant Manager at Le Grand Comptoir plays a pivotal role in managing all aspects of front-of-house and kitchen activities. This includes overseeing food quality and safety standards, managing costs, leading and developing staff, enforcing systems and processes, merchandising, and participating in forecasting and budgeting activities.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced airport environment, where the ability to multitask, solve problems, and maintain a customer-centric attitude is essential. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is also responsible for office management tasks, ensuring compliance with all operational standards, and fostering a positive team culture. This role offers significant career progression opportunities within SSP America’s extensive portfolio, allowing motivated individuals to advance into higher management positions.
Joining Le Grand Comptoir means becoming part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering excellence in guest service, maintaining the highest food safety standards, and contributing to a dynamic airport dining experience. Working here provides exposure to a diverse clientele and the chance to hone skills in full-service restaurant management with bar operations in one of the busiest airports in the United States.
