About the Role

CEC Entertainment is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their team—a leadership role designed for individuals ready to elevate their management career within the family entertainment industry. This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.49 to $19.44, with attractive commission potential based on membership and Fun Pass sales. Assistant Managers at Chuck E. Cheese play a pivotal part in ensuring every guest leaves happy by leading and inspiring a team committed to outstanding guest experiences. The position involves high-energy, dynamic work that is both challenging and rewarding. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, including staff scheduling, cleanliness, product quality, and guest service standards. This role requires making informed decisions about time management and resource allocation to maintain smooth operations.

The position also emphasizes building sales and maximizing profits through effective team recruitment, training, and motivation. Assistant Managers coach their teams to consistently deliver exceptional service while maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment. Financial acumen is essential, with duties including understanding cost control, inventory management, and labor scheduling. In addition to general leadership responsibilities, Assistant Managers take ownership of an "Area of Impact" (AOI), rotating through specialized areas such as the kitchen, sales, showroom, or gameroom to gain comprehensive operational expertise. This diverse scope of responsibilities fosters a well-rounded managerial experience and career growth.

The role offers numerous opportunities to develop vital skills including coaching, communication, composure under pressure, resourcefulness, integrity, and efficient time management. Candidates must be willing to work a full 40-hour week, possess at least a high school diploma or GED, and be at least 21 years old (or meet local legal age requirements for alcohol service with appropriate approvals). Prior management experience in food service or equivalent roles is preferred.

Working at Chuck E. Cheese means becoming part of a team dedicated to fun, family, and community impact. As an employer, CEC Entertainment offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plans, tuition assistance, and employee discounts, underscoring their commitment to supporting employee well-being and career development. The company is also an equal opportunity employer, championing diversity and inclusion throughout its organization.
