The role of Assistant Restaurant Manager is a cornerstone position within the leadership and management team at this Wendy’s location. Assistant Restaurant Managers are responsible for providing the necessary direction, training, and expertise that ensures customer expectations not only meet but exceed industry standards. This role requires a dynamic leader who can oversee daily operations, drive sales growth, maintain quality service and food safety, and ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for both customers and staff. Assistant Managers work collaboratively with the restaurant management team to achieve the store’s business goals during their shift.

Key responsibilities include mentoring and developing team members, monitoring food safety procedures rigorously to protect customer health, managing sales and profitability objectives, and upholding the Wendy's brand and its assets. The Assistant Manager plays a critical role in shaping the staff's approach to customer service, fostering a team environment that promotes high performance, and aligning operations with corporate standards for quality, service, and cleanliness (QSC).

  • Must be dependable and punctual

  • Fluent English-speaking and writing skills
  • Highly collaborative nature
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent math skills including basic computations and ability to apply basic algebra
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting 25-50 lbs
