Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of crew management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
  • Experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
  • Ability to manage budgets and control food costs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Availability to work in person at Miami Beach FL location

Job Qualifications

  • Proven management experience within the food service industry particularly cafe style casual dining environments
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques cooking methods and kitchen management
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast for order processing and sales tracking
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training and development in a hospitality or restaurant setting
  • Strong background in food safety protocols inventory control budgeting and food handling procedures
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
  • Experience working in hotel environments is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise restaurant staff including hiring training coaching and evaluating team members to ensure top performance
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards and consistency across all menu items
  • Manage daily operations including shift management inventory control and food safety compliance using systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
  • Control food costs and manage budgets through effective food management waste reduction and inventory oversight
  • Supervise kitchen activities including food production catering banquets and bar service when applicable
  • Implement staff training programs focused on food handling safety procedures and hospitality best practices
  • Handle cash transactions accurately perform cash handling duties and reconcile daily sales reports
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and company policies
