Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of crew management experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
- Experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Ability to manage budgets and control food costs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Availability to work in person at Miami Beach FL location
Job Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the food service industry particularly cafe style casual dining environments
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques cooking methods and kitchen management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast for order processing and sales tracking
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training and development in a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Strong background in food safety protocols inventory control budgeting and food handling procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Experience working in hotel environments is a plus
Job Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff including hiring training coaching and evaluating team members to ensure top performance
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards and consistency across all menu items
- Manage daily operations including shift management inventory control and food safety compliance using systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Control food costs and manage budgets through effective food management waste reduction and inventory oversight
- Supervise kitchen activities including food production catering banquets and bar service when applicable
- Implement staff training programs focused on food handling safety procedures and hospitality best practices
- Handle cash transactions accurately perform cash handling duties and reconcile daily sales reports
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and company policies
