Operating across more than 230 properties worldwide, Pyramid Global Hospitality champions a collaborative workplace that encourages continuous learning and career advancement for both newcomers to the hospitality industry and seasoned professionals alike.
One of Pyramid Global Hospitality's flagship properties is the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing, located uniquely on the Delaware River Waterfront in downtown Philadelphia. This hotel boasts 350 elegantly appointed guest rooms and 24,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. Guests enjoy modern comforts such as sleek work desks, 32-inch LCD televisions, Wi-Fi-enabled plug-n-play consoles, dark wood furnishings, leather lounge chairs, contemporary lighting, and beautifully renovated bathrooms. Many rooms provide stunning city or river views, making the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing a standout destination for visitors.
The restaurant manager role at this property is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of the hotel’s restaurant and bar. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations to guarantee excellent guest service and high-quality food and beverage offerings. Managing staff, maintaining inventory, enforcing quality standards, and optimizing service efficiency are key components of this role, along with upholding strict hotel policies and brand standards.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in restaurant management, with experience in handling reservations, guest interactions, and coordinating workflow between kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor laws is essential. The role demands a focus on creating memorable dining experiences, addressing guest inquiries and complaints efficiently, implementing strategies to boost satisfaction and encourage repeat business, as well as analyzing feedback for continuous improvement.
In addition to daily operational oversight, the restaurant manager will work closely with sales and culinary teams to design special promotions, seasonal menus, and themed events that attract and delight guests. Recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, bussers, and food and beverage attendants, also fall within this comprehensive role. Maintaining adherence to hotel standards in grooming, service protocols, and workplace policies ensures a professional and enjoyable environment for both guests and employees.
Pyramid Global Hospitality supports its team members with competitive benefits such as comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, on-site wellness programs, local discounts, and special employee rates on hotel stays. The company emphasizes ongoing training and development to empower employees with the skills needed for career advancement. This position offers a dynamic career opportunity in a vibrant hospitality setting, ideal for those passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading teams to success.
