Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 1-2 years managerial experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk extensively for up to 8 hours
  • Good vision and communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry trays
  • Capacity to work under pressure and irregular hours
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
  • Familiarity with safety, sanitation, and preventive maintenance procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Some college or degree preferred
  • 1-2 years managerial experience preferred, especially in food service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food, liquor, beer, and wine management
  • Ability to train and develop staff
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Job Duties

  • Assist the General Manager in restaurant operations and achieving sales and profit goals
  • Provide direction and leadership to restaurant staff to ensure guest satisfaction and a quality work environment
  • Ensure preparation, portioning, and presentation of menu items meet company and health standards
  • Manage staffing activities including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering of food and non-food items
  • Maintain facility and equipment through preventive maintenance, energy conservation, and safety adherence
  • Handle financial data including payroll, cash handling, food costs, and operating expenses
