The Assistant Restaurant Manager position is a critical member of the management team at Pearl Country Club and plays a vital role in overseeing daily restaurant operations. This leadership role requires a motivated individual who is eager to learn and contribute to the success of the property. The incumbent will be responsible for managing restaurant staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining compliance with health and safety laws, and contributing to marketing and sales strategies. The manager will oversee employees such as bartenders, hosts, snack bar attendants, and other restaurant personnel, conducting training sessions to uphold the highest operational standards.
In addition, the Assistant Restaurant Manager will assist in event sales, coordinate between various departments, and implement Troon’s human resources guidelines. Emphasizing a professional demeanor, this role is tasked with performing daily walk-throughs to ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and managing cost controls, including monthly inventory checks. Job Requirements
- must have 3-5 years of related experience in food and beverage management
- college degree preferred
- must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
- must have food and beverage and restaurant operations experience

Job Duties
- daily management of restaurant operations
- assist the Food & Beverage Manager with event sales
- supervise and develop bartender, host/hostess, snack bar attendant and other employees
- conduct training and refresher classes for all restaurant employees on correct procedures
- maintain cost controls and conduct a monthly inventory
- implement and maintain restaurant sales/marketing programs
- ensure quality assurance, guest service, and training of all restaurant employees
- uphold Pearl CC Food and Beverage policies
- institute and implement Troon Human Resources guidelines
- coordinate between all departments
- responsible for overall guest satisfaction
- ensure all employees conduct themselves professionally
- perform daily walk-through to ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations
- comply with health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and local/state laws
- manage closing procedures and appropriate cash handling
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
