Job Requirements

  • must have 3-5 years of related experience in food and beverage management
  • college degree preferred
  • must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
  • must have food and beverage and restaurant operations experience
  • must have proven management experience
  • must have strong business aptitude
  • must have a strong service orientation
  • must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • must be highly organized, efficient, and detail oriented
  • must have exceptional interpersonal skills
  • able to assist with special events with the Food & Beverage Department

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • daily management of restaurant operations
  • assist the Food & Beverage Manager with event sales
  • supervise and develop bartender, host/hostess, snack bar attendant and other employees
  • conduct training and refresher classes for all restaurant employees on correct procedures
  • maintain cost controls and conduct a monthly inventory
  • implement and maintain restaurant sales/marketing programs
  • ensure quality assurance, guest service, and training of all restaurant employees
  • uphold Pearl CC Food and Beverage policies
  • institute and implement Troon Human Resources guidelines
  • coordinate between all departments
  • responsible for overall guest satisfaction
  • ensure all employees conduct themselves professionally
  • perform daily walk-through to ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations
  • comply with health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and local/state laws
  • manage closing procedures and appropriate cash handling
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
