We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team and contribute to an exciting culinary experience at our property. This role involves assisting in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards and culinary quality that align with the hotel's commitment to excellence. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of supervisory or management experience in food and beverage
- ability to work flexible hours including mornings and evenings
- valid certifications such as TIPS or CARE
- strong communication skills
- ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
- knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
- must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- ability to obtain Hepatitis A certification within 10 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years prior supervisory or management experience
- prior hotel F&B experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and other team members
- excellent problem solving skills
- strong associate relations skills and good conflict resolution skills
- prior cash handling experience
- experience with scheduling, payroll, and labor management
- experience with MICROS POS system
- prior Serve Safe Certification preferred
- TIPS or CARE Certification
- CPR Certification preferred
- must be able to obtain a Hepatitis A certification within 10 days of hire
- able to work AM and PM shifts
Job Duties
- Assist in managing the restaurant operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training
- ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service are maintained
