The position of Assistant Restaurant Manager at Medinah Country Club is a pivotal role within the club’s food and beverage operations. The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the daily operations and success of multiple restaurant outlets at the club. This role is instrumental in delivering outstanding member and guest experiences by leading the front-of-house team, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining the club's standards of hospitality. The Assistant Restaurant Manager works closely with the Restaurant Manager, Member Dining Service Manager, and Food & Beverage Director to uphold the exceptional service culture that Medinah Country Club is known for.
In this capacity, the Assistant Restaurant Manager fosters strong relationships with club members, anticipating their preferences and swiftly resolving any concerns to ensure satisfaction. Leadership and staff development are core to the role, involving hiring, training, supervising, and coaching front-of-house personnel to nurture a positive, accountable, and professional work environment. Operational responsibilities include managing daily procedures such as opening and closing, staff time-clock monitoring, inventory oversight, POS usage, cash handling, compliance with health and safety standards, and support for special events and private functions.
