The role of Assistant Restaurant Manager at Dunkin' is pivotal in driving restaurant success and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The Assistant Restaurant Manager works closely with the Restaurant Manager to lead a dynamic team dedicated to delivering friendly, efficient service while maximizing profitable top-line sales. In addition to cultivating a guest-first culture, the Assistant Restaurant Manager ensures operational excellence by maintaining appropriately staffed shifts, enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation standards, and adhering to brand standards, recipes, and systems. They assist in creating and executing action plans aimed at improving productivity, quality, and guest satisfaction, reflecting a commitment to superior restaurant operations. A key aspect of this role includes reviewing guest feedback and implementing adjustments to drive ongoing improvements.
From a profitability perspective, the Assistant Restaurant Manager plays an active role in cost control to enhance profitability and leads the execution of in-restaurant marketing promotions, new product rollouts, and team training initiatives. They are responsible for tracking sales goals and analyzing results to help drive the restaurant’s financial success.
This role requires a professional who is fluent in English, has restaurant or retail supervisory experience, possesses basic computer and writing skills, and meets age requirements. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, along with proficiency in math and financial management concepts.
