In the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be working closely as part of a management team, with a focus on maintaining high standards of customer service and restaurant operations. This position is ideal for candidates with previous supervisory experience who are passionate about leadership and eager to take on management responsibilities. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the Restaurant Leader in supervising and coaching restaurant employees, ensuring the store meets all company policies and Health Department standards. The role requires attention to food quality, proper food handling, and maintaining an inviting restaurant environment.

Successful candidates will have the ability to analyze P&L and store reports to make data-driven decisions that enhance store performance. The role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail and food service environment. You will also need to be comfortable using computer tools such as Microsoft Word and Excel to manage documentation and reporting tasks.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required with at least one year of restaurant management experience
  • Ability to oversee and provide leadership and coaching for restaurant staff
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Ability to ensure food quality and presentation standards
  • Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Capacity to multitask and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or restaurant management experience
  • Ability to lead and coach employees
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Restaurant Leader for all restaurant employees
  • Ensure the restaurant complies with company policies, procedures, and Health Department standards
  • Monitor and maintain proper preparation, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products
  • Use P&L and store reports to implement changes and improve performance
  • Read and interpret operational documents such as instructions and maintenance manuals
  • Manage restaurant condition to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Support daily restaurant operations through multitasking and problem-solving
