The role of Assistant Restaurant Leader (Assistant Manager) at 7-Eleven represents a vital leadership position within the restaurant management team. Job Requirements

  • Desire to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching
  • Ability to ensure restaurant condition complies with policies and health standards
  • Strong attention to food preparation, presentation, and freshness
  • Ability to use P&L and store reports to implement changes
  • Ability to read and interpret documents including manuals and instructions
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft products
  • High school diploma or GED preferred or at least one year of restaurant management experience
  • Ability to multitask and perform repeated physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required with at least one year of restaurant management experience
  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant or retail environment
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Proficient computer knowledge, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret operations and maintenance documents
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial reports and utilize P&L data
  • Excellent multitasking skills and ability to perform physical tasks including bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all restaurant employees alongside the Restaurant Leader
  • Oversee the restaurant condition and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health Department Standards
  • Ensure proper preparations, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products
  • Use profit and loss (P&L) and store reports to affect change and improve operations
  • Read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Perform management duties as assigned to support the overall restaurant operations
  • Assist with scheduling and labor management to meet operational goals
