The Assistant Restaurant Leader (Assistant Manager) role at this Speedway location involves crucial responsibilities that blend operational management, team leadership, and customer service excellence. This full-time position is designed for individuals passionate about the restaurant and convenience store industry who have prior supervisory experience or a readiness to engage in leadership development. The Assistant Restaurant Leader supports the Restaurant Leader in managing all store operations, ensuring the restaurant meets company standards and regulatory requirements, particularly those related to health and food safety. This role requires someone who can lead with dedication, oversee food preparation for quality and freshness, and provide strategic insights by utilizing Profit and Loss (P&L) reports and other store data. Job Requirements

  • desire to oversee and provide customer service leadership training and coaching alongside the Restaurant Leader
  • ability to ensure restaurant condition complies with company policies procedures and Health Department Standards
  • strength to ensure proper preparations presentation and freshness of all foodservice products
  • demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft products
  • high school diploma or GED preferred but not required with at least one year of restaurant management experience
  • ability to multi-task perform repeated bending standing reaching and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED preferred but not required with at least one year of restaurant management experience
  • demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports
  • proficient computer knowledge especially Microsoft Word and Excel
  • ability to read and interpret operational manuals and instructions
