This vacancy is for the position of Assistant Restaurant Leader (Assistant Manager) at the 7-Eleven store located in Waco, Texas. This role is a full-time opportunity designed for individuals with previous supervisory experience who enjoy being part of a management team. The Assistant Restaurant Leader Trainee will work closely with the Restaurant Leader to provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all restaurant employees. Job Requirements

  • Desire to oversee and provide customer service leadership and coaching for restaurant employees
  • Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and health department standards
  • Capability to maintain foodservice product quality
  • Ability to use P&L and store reports effectively
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High School diploma or GED preferred but not required with at least one year of restaurant management experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Physical ability to perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service leadership and coaching for restaurant employees
  • Oversee the restaurant to ensure compliance with company policies and health department standards
  • Ensure proper preparation, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products
  • Use P&L and store reports to implement operational changes
  • Read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Assist in training and development of restaurant staff
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the restaurant environment
