Currently, 7-Eleven is hiring for the position of Assistant Restaurant Leader (Assistant Manager) at their corporate store located in Nashville, Tennessee. This full-time role offers valuable management and leadership experience alongside competitive pay. The Assistant Restaurant Manager works as part of the management team with previous supervisory experience welcomed. In this role, the Assistant Restaurant Leader supports the Restaurant Leader by overseeing customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all restaurant employees. The position involves making sure that the restaurant complies with company policies, procedures, and Health Department standards. Additionally, the Assistant Manager ensures the preparation, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products meet 7-Eleven's high standards. The ability to interpret and use P&L and store reports to make impactful changes is essential.

The role also requires proficiency in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Candidates typically have at least a high school diploma or GED, but those with one year of restaurant management experience may also be eligible regardless of educational credentials. The physical demands of the job include bending, standing, reaching frequently, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Requirements

  • Desire to oversee and provide customer service leadership
  • Ability to ensure restaurant compliance with company and health standards
  • Strength in food preparation and presentation
  • Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports effectively
  • Proficient computer knowledge
  • High school diploma or GED preferred or one year of restaurant management experience
  • Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Effective communication and training skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service leadership and coaching alongside the Restaurant Leader
  • Oversee restaurant condition to ensure compliance with company policies and Health Department standards
  • Ensure proper preparation, presentation, and freshness of foodservice products
  • Utilize P&L and store reports to affect operational changes
  • Read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
  • Manage training of restaurant employees
  • Support the management team in daily restaurant operations
