This specific role is for an Assistant Restaurant Leader (Assistant Manager) at a corporate 7-Eleven store located in Edinburg, Texas. As an Assistant Restaurant Leader, you will play a critical role in supporting the Restaurant Leader by overseeing, coaching, and training all restaurant employees to ensure excellent customer service and maintain compliance with company standards. You will be instrumental in upholding the store’s operational condition and ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies. Your responsibilities will include managing food preparation standards to maintain quality, freshness, and presentation ensuring the store delivers a consistently exceptional customer experience. You will also use Profit & Loss (P&L) data and store reports to influence and implement changes that improve store performance.

Job Requirements

  • Desire to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching
  • Ability to ensure restaurant compliance with company and health department standards
  • Experience ensuring proper preparation and presentation of foodservice products
  • Capability to analyze and use financial data to drive store improvements
  • Ability to read and interpret relevant documents and manuals
  • Proficient in computer use, particularly Microsoft products
  • High school diploma or GED preferred or at least one year of restaurant management experience
  • Ability to multi-task and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required with at least one year of restaurant management experience
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret operational and maintenance manuals
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Physical ability to perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership for all restaurant employees
  • Train and coach team members alongside the Restaurant Leader
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health department standards
  • Maintain proper preparation, presentation, and freshness of all foodservice products
  • Use profit and loss statements and store reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor restaurant conditions and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Support the Restaurant Leader in daily operational tasks
