This leadership position supports the Restaurant Leader by managing a variety of operational tasks in a fast-paced, physically active environment requiring both inside and outside work. Responsibilities span from crew hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and payroll processing to ensuring rigorous compliance with Raising Cane's operational and safety procedures. The Assistant Restaurant Leader acts as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant, overseeing cash handling, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the facility. Job Requirements

- Three plus years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems efficiently
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Hire and terminate all hourly non-management crewmembers
- Own onboarding status change and payroll process for all hourly crewmembers
- Create crewmember work and training schedules
- Manage performance of all hourly crewmembers including development coaching redirective communication and documentation
- Act as manager on duty and open and close the restaurant
- Manage cash handling and ensure accountability
- Enforce Raising Cane's policies and standards
- Execute shift management meeting operations and safety standards
- Use required tools forms and logs to support shift execution and document results
- Deploy crewmembers during shifts
- Provide exemplary customer service
- Utilize reward and recognition program for crewmembers
- Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval
- Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and maintain facility in good working order
- Complete other duties as assigned
